  • If you would like to join the Mountain View Chapter of the National Honor Society, your application must be turned in TODAY by 3:15. Turn all applications into rooms 726, 1124, or 1214.
  • Did you know that we offer more world languages at Mountain View than just Spanish? You can also learn French, German, and ASL. Many of our programs offer Dual Enrollment options as well as AP options. In fact, you can earn up to 22 - yes, 22 - college credits in Spanish while attending Mountain View by taking the higher level courses through dual enrollment. Wow! Many of our students that take level 3 and level 4 classes also qualify for the Arizona State Seal of Biliteracy on their diploma and transcripts!
  • Seniors! Are you planning to attend an Arizona University or one of the BYU universities? Do you have a 3.25 or higher gpa? Do you need help with college expenses? We encourage you to apply for the Wood Scholarship! This scholarship is only available to students in MPS. Last year, 5 Mountain View students received the scholarship! Stop by the Career Center or Counseling office to pick up an application today. Applications are due back to Mrs. Simmonds on Tuesday, January 31st!
  • Come to the Bull's Eye for your sweet Valentine! We have balloons, flowers, stuffed animals, headbands, necklaces, etc. We also have Winter Clearance of MVHS Spirit items. Stop by Room 304 to find something you would love! Toros! Would you like to be paid for being creative? Are you interested in graphic design, creating social media content, photography, creating videos and other opportunities? Stop by the Career Center during the lunch hours today! A hiring coordinator from Mesa Youth Creative Agency will visit to tell students about opportunities to use your creative talents to create content for clients in the Mesa community and get paid for your work!
  • Any girls interested in playing beach volleyball should come to as many open courts as you can. Open sand starts 20 mins after school is out on the following dates: January 19th, 23rd, 25th, 26th and 1/30-2/3.
  • Attention: all tennis players. Boys and girls, if you are interested in playing tennis this year for Mountain View, there is a mandatory meeting on Wednesday, January 25th in room 1107. That is right after 7th hour on Wednesday, at 1pm, all tennis players, in room 1107 with coach Halter. See you there.
