  • National Honor Society is a nationally recognized service focused club that accepts new members just once a year. That time of year is NOW! Pick up an application in the counseling office or Career Center or in rooms 726, 1124, or 1214. Don't delay. We only do this once a year! Applications are due back tomorrow Friday, Jan. 20, and no late applications will be accepted.
  • Toros! Today is the blood drive! If you didn’t turn in your signed permission slip yet OR you are 18 and forgot to sign up, you can stop by the small gym and donate- Anytime through the end of 5 th hour, or B lunch. 
  • Toros! Would you like to be paid for being creative? Are you interested in graphic design, creating social media content, photography, creating videos and other opportunities? Stop by the Career Center during the lunch hours on Friday, January 20th. A hiring coordinator from Mesa Youth Creative Agency will visit that day to tell students about opportunities to use your creative talents to create content for clients in the Mesa community and get paid for your work!
  • Beach volleyball will have open court after school on Wednesday the 18th and Thursday the 19th. See you there!
  • Seniors! Are you planning to attend an Arizona University or one of the BYU universities? Do you have a 3.25 or higher gpa? Do you need help with college expenses? We encourage you to apply for the Wood Scholarship! This scholarship is only available to students in MPS. Last year, 5 Mountain View students received the scholarship! Stop by the Career Center or Counseling office to pick up an application today. Applications are due back to Mrs. Simmonds on Tuesday, January 31st!
  • Join the Youth and Government Club every Thursday at 3:30 pm to discuss politics and current events! You will learn about a variety of career options and ways to change your community. This Thursday we are meeting in room 1207 and will hear from guest speaker Carmen Foskey. She started working on political campaigns as a teenager and rose to become the state executive director of a major political party. Come hear from someone who got involved at a young age and learn how you can do the same!
