We will be offering the ASVAB Career Exploration assessment at Mountain View on Tuesday, March 18th! Sign up using the link on the Counseling site, in Canvas or stop by the Career Center if you have questions. Scores will not be released to the military unless the student opts in.
Attention Seniors - if you are interested in giving a speech at graduation, you must attend the mandatory meeting on Tuesday, March 4, in Library classroom B, right after school.
Attention JUNIORS! This is the last week to sign up for the Senior Internship Program. If you have taken a CTE Class, you probably qualify. Spend less time in class and more time on a job site, receive class credits, and many are PAID. Get the link to complete the full application by visiting Mrs. Baldwin in the Career Center, or asking a CTE teacher for the link. Deadline is Friday.
Juniors and Seniors - thinking about attending college in Utah? Would you like to learn about Utah Tech University and the different programs and scholarships they offer? A rep from Utah Tech is scheduled to visit the Career Center next Monday, March 3rd during 2nd hour to tell you all about their school and what they offer! Seniors - Mountain View's GCU rep will visit the Career Center on Wednesday March 5th to meet with admitted students who have questions or student who are interested in in applying. She is scheduled to be here 1st, 2nd and 3rd hours. Need to meet with the GCU rep? Toros - are you looking for a summer job to earn a little money? Reps from Salt River Tubing will visit the lunch patio on Monday, March 3rd to tell students about job opportunities and have you complete an interest card to be invited to an interviewing event! Stop by their table to learn more and let them know you are interested!
Students, effective Tuesday March 4th, you need a physical ID to come through the gates at the metal detectors. Our security team has been advised that students that do not possess a physical ID are to all go through the doors by the bookstore and will be required to get an ID. Please prepare.
