Seniors! Will you be the first in your family to pursue a Bachelor's degree? Are you planning to attend ASU, NAU or UofA? Want to learn about a scholarship valued over $100,000 with study abroad opportunities and other programs? A rep from the Dorrance Scholarship organization will visit Mountain View's Career Center on Tuesday, November 12th at 3rd hour to tell you all about the scholarship. Attention Winter Athletes! Tryouts start today! If you are planning on playing basketball, soccer or wrestling - your register my athlete account has to be complete. If you need any help please see Mrs. Cyrus in the leadership office.

Sophomores! Are you a leader? Want to attend an event where you will meet other students from around the state. It will be an event jam-packed with lots of guest speakers, fun games, leadership activities, community service projects, and so much more!

The Hugh O'Brian State Leadership seminar may be a great opportunity for you! Mountain View will sponsor one sophomore to attend the event this summer. Interested? Toros! A rep from Park University, a Missouri liberal arts university with a satellite campus in downtown Gilbert, will visit Mountain View High School today at lunch.. Watch for the rep on the lunch patio and stop by to learn about the programs they offer, scholarships and more. Popular majors are Business, Psychology, Criminal Justice and Information Systems.

Mountain View's Native American Heritage club, hot off our trip to NAU and last weeks Fall Fest event, will be meeting Tuesday, November 5th to discuss future plans for Heritage Night (happening November 25th) and creating some beadwork. Skoden!

We’re so excited for Toro Theatre Company’s presentation of Peter and the Starcatcher. This play will show next week, November 13th-16th, at 7 pm in the Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $10 at torotheatre.com. Discounted student tickets will be available for Mountain View students at ONLY the Wednesday November 13th and Thursday November 14th show. The cost is $5 at the door and you MUST show your student ID to purchase. These tickets are only available at the door-no pre-purchasing.
