There will be a driving permit class after school on October 30 in Room 307A. You may register online or in the bookstore. Please drop off a copy of your birth certificate to Mr. Forster prior to October 30.

Would you like to learn a secret code? Do you enjoy meeting new students? Have you ever wondered about how blind students read and write? Come on over to Library Study Room B, and learn all about Braille! There is a "Braille Phrase of the Week," posted on the door, and when you successfully decode it, you will get a small piece of chocolate and meet a fluent Braille reading student, too! So come on down, learn something fun and interesting, bring a friend and make a friend! We'll see you in Library Study Room B!

Are you interested in earning Service hours? The Speech and Debate Team needs your help to run the 33rd Annual Toro Country Classic. If you can volunteer on Friday, November 8th, or Saturday, November 9th, please stop by room 725 on Tuesday, October 22 at lunch or after school to pick up a sign-up form.

Seniors - If you have not had your senior yearbook portrait taken at the Lou Coopey Studio, you can get your senior picture taken here on campus on Friday the 25th in the Performing Arts Center starting at 8am. Head over between classes or during lunch. This is your last chance to get your senior portrait in the yearbook. Remember, it's a senior portrait, so dress to impress!

Toros! A rep from Benedictine University's Mesa campus plans to visit Mountain View this Thursday, October 24th. The rep will visit during lunch hours on the lunch patio. Stop by their table to learn about their financial aid package, the Redhawk Promise, that may help you qualify for free tuition. Learn about their different programs and ask the rep questions about their campus in the downtown Mesa area!

Seniors! Will you be the first in your family to pursue a Bachelor's degree? Are you planning to attend ASU, NAU or the UofA? Want to learn about a scholarship valued over $100,000 with study abroad opportunities and other programs? A rep from the Dorrance Scholarship organization will visit Mountain View's Career Center on Tuesday, November 12th at 3rd hour to tell you all about the scholarship.
