This week are our last Spirit Days of the year! Tomorrow is Mia and Sebastion’s Theme- Find someone that likes you and twin it up!

Mrs. Drain's Freshmen Honors classes are running a book drive for the Mesa United Way 12 Book Program. We will be collecting kindergarten through 2nd grade books just this last week during 1st hour. Collection boxes will also be in the office. Please help young readers develop their reading skills over the summer by donating books or money! Thanks!

Congratulations to our Toros of the Month! Our Toros of the Month are: Kristen Phillips, Baltazar Mateo Nicolas, Ryan Dennis, Angela Morales, Lydia Crider, Kaylee Hoskin, Kate Nelson, Elijah Crockett, Stage Manager Dylan Prentis and Teachers: Corey Helsel and Freeman Pruett. Our Toros of the month lunch will be today at 11:30 in the principals conference room. See Ms Cyrus in the leadership office with any questions.

Don't forget, Attendance Appeal Forms are due no later than Friday, May 3rd. Don't wait, get them in today.

Trailblazing Toros we would love for you to come celebrate Earth Day with us this Thursday at lunch! We'll be watching a nature video and enjoying company. We'll even see if there's anything left on our bucket list of hikes or events to complete this year! Everyone is welcome. 1127 for fourth lunch and 1141 for fifth lunch. Remember: Life sucks a lot less when you add mountain air.

Freshman Toros - do you have an interest in pursuing a career in healthcare? Would you like to earn a potential 50 college credits while you are in high school? A rep from Scottsdale Community college will visit the Career Center on Thursday, May 2nd during the 3rd hour to tell you how. Sign up using the Career Center Event sign up on the counseling webpage or stop by the Career Center and Mrs. Simmonds will help you sign up and let you know about the eligibility requirements for the program. Come learn about how you can get a head start towards an Associates Degree in Nursing, Respiratory, Nutrition or other Health Sciences Fields of Interest

Seniors, If you plan to attend MCC after graduation and would like help enrolling in classes, please visit the career center to make an appointment with Mrs. J.

Saturday is Prom! If you haven’t gotten your ticket, be sure to do so ASAP. Lines at the bookstore will only get longer the closer to the date of the dance. Prom is at the AZ Science Center in downtown Phoenix. Be sure to park in the parking garage NORTH of the Center and take your parking ticket in to be validated. The garage NORTH of the Center is the only garage that can be validated.

SENIORS- we are putting together a Senior Video for graduation! Look for the flyers in the halls and select teachers classrooms or outside room 1215, scan the QR code and upload pictures and videos of your High school memories!
