Attention Seniors: If you would like to audition to give one of the two graduation addresses or read the names of the graduates at graduation, you must attend a mandatory meeting in room 725 right now. Please check in with your teacher then report immediately to Room 725. Ms. Howell will give you a pass back to class. Again, that is right now.

Juniors and Seniors! Do you have a 2.8 or higher gpa? Would you like to spend a day away from school to visit a college campus? Stop by the Career Center to pick up a permission form for a field trip to GCU. Forms are due back this Thursday and spots are reserved when you turn in the form. We will visit Grand Canyon University on April 1st to take a tour, visit a cadaver lab, meet with some GCU students and have lunch. Pick up a form today or tomorrow to reserve your spot on the trip!

Are you a current 9th or 10th grade student who is interested in flying to Washington, D.C. this summer on the Cardinals jet? Then this opportunity may be for you! Civics Matters Arizona is a civic engagement initiative to empower the highest needs students across the state to become active and engaged participants in their schools and communities. Selected students have an opportunity to participate in a FREE 4 day/3 night experience in Washington, D.C. (from June 11-14) and earn credit towards the Arizona Seal of Civics Literacy. To apply, please stop by Room 731 to get an application from Mrs. Thune.

Phoenix Rotary 100 Annual Speech Contest will be held at the State Capital on Saturday, April 6th. The top 4 winners in the 11th - 12th-grade division will win $500 to $4000, and winners in the 9th - 10th-grade division will win $250 to $1000. Each school can enter 2 seniors, 2 juniors, 2 sophomores, and 2 freshmen. For more information and the specific format of the competition, stop by room 725 to pick up a packet.

March Madness in the library continues! The Elite 8 books that move on have been selected through your voting. This week you will vote which books make the final 4. Voting ballots can be found in the library and online through the Mountain View Library webpage.

Juniors! - Our in-state university reps are planning to visit the Career Center when we come back from spring break to meet with you. They will share about admissions requirements, how to apply, financial aid, life on campus and more! UofA will visit at 3rd hour on March 25th, NAU at 3rd hour on March 26th and Arizona State will visit at 2nd hour on April 4th. Sign up for the visit using the Career Center events sign up form on the counseling site, in canvas or stop by the Career Center. We can have around 25 students per visit so sign up soon!

Toros! Interested in a career in HVAC, welding or as an electrician? A rep from RSI, the Refrigeration School will visit Mountain View's Career Center on Wednesday, March 27th at 2nd hour.
