Toros! A rep from the University of Wyoming will visit the Career Center at 2nd hour on Thursday, March 7th to meet with students who would like to learn about this school located in Laramie Wyoming. Rated by Niche in the top 100 public universities in the country, students can stop by to learn about their popular majors such as psychology, nursing, education, marketing and more. Learn about what it is like to attend school in Wyoming, life on campus and more. Sign up using the Career Center Events form on the counseling website, in Canvas or stop by the Career Center to sign up. See you there!

All NHS members, new and old, we have our monthly meeting this Thursday during both lunches in the LIBRARY. Seniors this will be your last meeting and there will be important information shared. New members, who received acceptance letters, you, too, will receive information on participating in the club. Returning members you will receive information on running for officer positions for next school year. Remember, we will be in the library. See you then!

The No Place for Hate Club is meeting today in Ms. Keel's Room (1135) at 3:30 PM, and all are welcome!

Juniors and Seniors! Do you have a 2.8 or higher gpa? Would you like to spend a day away from school to visit a college campus? Stop by the Career Center to pick up a permission form for a field trip to GCU. Forms are due back soon and spots are reserved when you turn in the form. We will visit Grand Canyon University on April 1st to take a tour, visit a cadaver lab, meet with some GCU students and have lunch. Forms are due back no later than March 14th!

Attention Toros! If you are a performer, and have a dance or act you would like the chance to show off, consider auditioning for filler numbers for the Toro Dance Concert in May! These auditions will be on Wednesday, March 12th in the PAC Flex Space at 3:30pm! Bring your completed dance or act! We look forward to seeing you! 

Congratulations to Del Campbell and Daniella Salas, students in seventh period AP Lang! Del won 4th place and Daniella won 6th place in the National Society of Arts & Letters Arizona Chapter Poetry Competition.

Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors - Wondering how your skills and interests line up with different careers? The ASVAB Career Exploration Assessment can help you find out! Curious? Sign up for the ASVAB using the form on the Counseling page. The ASVAB assessment is scheduled for Wednesday March 13th. You will be excused from class for part of the morning. A few weeks later you will learn how to use the ASVAB Program to research careers that may be a great fit for you! Stop by the Career Center if you have any questions or need help signing up! Space is limited so sign up soon!

Seniors, come and join us at the kick-off event for March Madness. Show off your basketball skills and compete to win prizes. The event is on March 7th, this Thursday, from 4-6 pm. Again, the top winners will receive prizes during this basketball shooting competition. Hope to see you this Thursday at 4! 

Celebrate Women’s History Month with the For the Girls Club at the Celebration For the Girls on the 6th of March, this Wednesday, from 1-3 pm in the PAC. 17 women ran clubs and girls' sports will be participating and making the event one to remember. Food, games, music, service learning opportunities, and guest speakers will be present at the event. Everyone and anyone is free to come stop by! Hope to see you this Wednesday at 1!
