Students, as a reminder, to park on Mountain View’s campus, you must have a valid parking sticker. Failure to have one will result in administrative discipline. Be sure that you are parking in permitted locations with a valid sticker. Also, if you park in the parking lot of the businesses across the street or in the neighborhoods around campus, you risk being ticketed or towed at your own expense.

Hello Mountain View! The Latino, Asian Student Association, Multicultural, Native American, and the BSU Club would like to present the Second Annual Multicultural Fest at Mountain View on Friday, March 1st. This will take place in the courtyard, PAC, and auditorium. The exciting event will take place during 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 6th period as well as during both lunches. We will have food, performers and much more! Encourage your teachers to sign up for the event. We will accept cards and cash! Help celebrate Mountain View’s multiculturality.

Juniors and Seniors! Do you have a 2.8 or higher gpa? Would you like to spend a day away from school to visit a college campus? We will be taking a field trip to Grand Canyon University on April 1st to take a tour, visit a cadaver lab, meet with some GCU students and have lunch. Stop by the Career Center or the counseling office to pick up a permission slip and learn more about the trip! We can take 45 juniors and seniors. Spots are filling up and students are signed up
when a permission form is returned to the Career Center so sign up soon! Forms are due back no later than March 14th!

Juniors and Seniors - Wondering how your skills and interests line up with different careers? The ASVAB Career Exploration Assessment can help you find out! Curious? Sign up for the ASVAB using the form on the Counseling page or in the Career Center Module in your grade level class in Canvas. The ASVAB assessment is scheduled for Wednesday March 13th. You will be excused from class for part of the morning. A few weeks later you will learn how to use the ASVAB Program to research careers that may be a great fit for you! Stop by the Career Center if you have any questions or need help signing up!

Toros! Thinking about a career in aviation? A rep from California Aeronautical University Mesa will visit Tuesday March 5th at 2nd hour in the Career Center to meet with students who want to learn about their programs in flight training, and more. Sign up for the visit using the Career Center Events form on the counseling page, in Canvas or stop by the Career Center and Mrs. Simmonds will help you sign up for the visit!

Toros! A rep from the University of Wyoming will visit the Career Center at 2nd hour on Thursday, March 7th to meet with students who would like to learn about this school located in Laramie Wyoming. Rated by Niche in the top 100 public universities in the country, students can stop by to learn about their popular majors such as psychology, nursing, education, marketing and more. Learn about what it is like to attend school in Wyoming, life on campus and more. Sign up using the Career Center Events form on the counseling website, in Canvas or stop by the Career Center to sign up. See you there!

Hey Toros, the Youth Alive Club is still happening every Tuesday afternoon, after school, in room 827. Come join us for food, friendship and inspiration. We would love to see you there.

Graduation is right around the corner! If you want to give a grad speech, or if you want to be a name reader at the ceremony - you must come to the MANDATORY meeting after school on Wednesday, March 6th in room 725. See you there!
