Then come to the mandatory Student Council Election parent meeting! Potential candidate AND a parent must come to just one meeting. Toros, National Honor Society is inviting you to share some extra love and kindness this month. Participate in Kindness Week and help make someone's day a little happier. Come fill out a card during both lunches in front of the 300 building, by the ramada. Find out the person's 2nd hour class to ensure delivery. See you today!

Toros! - Next week a couple college reps will visit at lunch hours on the lunch patio. On Monday February 12th, Benedictine University Mesa' rep will visit. On Friday the 16th a rep from University of Advancing Technology will visit to chat with students about different programs they offer. Be sure to stop by their tables to learn more about each school!

Toros - Universal Technical Institute's rep will visit the Career Center next Tuesday, February 13th during 2nd and 3rd hour to discuss their programs such as Welding, HVAC, Auto, Diesel and Motorcycle Repair and more! Sign up for the visit using the Career Center Event form or stop by the Career Center! See you there!

Juniors and Seniors - Are you planning on going to college, technical school, the military, or are you not sure yet? The ASVAB Career Exploration Assessment can put you on the right path toward finding a great career. Curious? Sign up for the ASVAB using the form on the Counseling page or in the Career Center Module in your grade level class in Canvas. The ASVAB is scheduled for Wed March 13th. You will be excused from class for part of the morning. Stop by the Career Center if you have any questions or need help signing up!

Sign up using the form on Mountain View's counseling page, in Canvas or stop by the Career Center to get signed up if you need help or have questions about housing, orientation, placement testing or other to do items for ASU!

Toros! Are you looking for a way to earn money this summer? We have great news! Golfland/Sunsplash will visit Mountain View on Monday February 12 during the lunch hours to meet with students who are looking for a summer job! Stop by their table to learn more about their job opportunities! 

Join the Swifties Club every Tuesday after school in room 701. At tea time, everybody agrees you should come! Swifties Club Tea Party this Tuesday the 13th! See the fliers around campus or see Mrs. Heggie in room 701 to contribute to the fun! Everyone is invited.

Congratulations to both of our soccer teams! Boys soccer ended the season 11-0-1 and are ranked #4 in the state! They will get a bye this week and play next. Girls soccer are ranked #10 and will be hosting Gilbert this Thursday at 6pm. Come show your support!

Juniors and Seniors! Do you have a 2.8 or higher gpa? Would you like to spend a day away from school to visit a college campus? We will be taking a field trip to Grand Canyon University this spring to take a tour, meet with some GCU students and have lunch. Stop by the Career Center or counseling office to pick up a permission slip and learn more about the trip! We can take 45 juniors and seniors. Students will be signed up when a permission form is returned. Sign up soon!
