Please come to the Native American Club meeting on today to discuss Christmas families and the events we want to sponsor during the spring semester. We will meet in room 818 during both lunches.

Calling all Swat Team members: Mandatory meeting next Thursday during both lunches. Anyone interested in running for President please be prepared with a short speech and we will hold elections then. Also, last month we voted on and signed up for a Christmas family so please stop by room 717 before Thursday to choose what you will be purchasing or bring in money and Mrs. Greer will shop. Next Wednesday there will be no announcements, so don't forget to be prepared for our election next Thursday. See you then!

Hey, all National Honor Society members, our December meeting is this Thursday in room 726 during both lunches. Come here about the end of the year service projects we have.

Toros! A rep from Salt River Fire department will visit the Career Center this morning during the 3rd hour. Stop by if you are interested in a career in firefighting to learn about career opportunities and get questions answered! 

Hi Students! Is the University of Arizona a school of interest? Mountain View's UofA rep is scheduled to visit this Thurdsay, December 7th during 2nd and 3rd hour. Sign up for the visit if you have questions about your next steps with the UofA or have questions about applying. The winners of the FSA ID drawing from last Friday, Monday, and today are Hunter Mason, Rebecca Callan, and Baylon Brewer. If your name was called, please go to the counselor’s office and ask for Mr. Czuba to select a prize. Remember: you can still enter the drawing by completing your FSA ID and sending a screenshot of your confirmation email to the FAFSA Instagram account. Congratulations to Junior Rafe Orr for breaking to quarter-finals in Varsity LD Debate, to Ivy Gurule for taking 6th in Informative Speaking, and to Brielle Ison for taking 5th place in Original Spoken Word Poetry. This was only her 2nd tournament! Congrats to the other competitors for continuing to get in the arena to compete. Each time we put ourselves out there, we learn more and bring home a few more wins. Additionally, there is an important meeting Today after school in room 725. Ms. Howell must know your intention to enter the Hugh Downs Southwest Championships by today. This tournament draws schools from all over the western part of the US and even as far away as Taipei, Taiwan.

A reminder that tomorrow is benchmark testing. All 9th, 10th, and 11th graders will be testing in their 2 nd hour class. Testing starts at 8:15. Seniors will work asynchronously. EVIT students are excused from their EVIT classes. Second- hour seminary students and office aides will be assigned an alternate testing room. Please make sure your computers are fully charged for testing day.
