Lets give a big congratulations to our first FAFSA raffle winner Sierra Chock who won 2 Free Winter Formal Tickets. You can be a winner too if you complete your Senior Punch Card. Once completed you can go into the Counselors office and turn into the front desk for a chance to win! 

Juniors and seniors - Is GCU a college of interest? Do you have a 2.8 or higher gpa? Would you like to visit GCU's campus, take a tour, see the dorms and have lunch? Stop by the Career Center, room 1238, to see Mrs. Simmonds to pick up a permission form for a field trip to visit GCU's campus. The trip is scheduled for Friday, December 1st and permission forms are due back by November 21st. We will take 45 students on the trip and students will be signed up when they return the permission form. Stop by the Career Center if you have any questions.

Seniors! Are you planning to attend college or a trade school? Want to learn about the important first step in finding ways to help pay for that education? We are here to help! On Thursday, November 16th we will have reps from ASU, GCU and MCC here in the library to help you and your family learn about FAFSA and financial aid. There will be a short presentation, time for Q&A and also time to set up your FSA id. 2 sessions will be offered from 5-6 or from 6-7. Snacks will be offered. Spanish speaking reps will be available. Hi Toros! Carrington College visits Mountain View next Monday, November 6th on the lunch patio to tell you about their programs of study including nursing, veterinary and dental. On Tuesday, Universal Technical Institute will be on campus all day near the 700 and 800 buildings with their semi trailer display. Stop by and meet their reps and learn about how they can train you for a career as a mechanic or in welding and many others. On Wednesday, a rep from Eastern Arizona will visit at 3rd hour in the Career Center. Sign up for that visit using the form on the counseling site or in Canvas or stop by the Career Center.
