Hi Toros! Is Grand Canyon University a school of interest? Mountain View's GCU rep will visit Tuesday October 24th at 2nd and 3rd hour in the Career Center. At 2nd hour the rep will discuss admissions information. At 3rd hour she will discuss two new trade programs offered by GCU. The first is a pre-apprenticeship program for electricians. The second is a CNC machinist pathway program. Stop by to learn about the programs and partnerships GCU has with employers. This Thursday, October 26 is the Fall Blood Drive! If you are 18 and above, be sure to sign up- no permission slip required. If you are under 18, then see a student Council member or stop by room 1215 and pick up a form outside the classroom. If you have a parent permission form already signed, then return it to room 1215. As an added incentive for anyone that donates, Student Council is buying food! That’s right, there will be Chick fil a, Ned’s Crazy Sub, or Little Caesar’s Pizza throughout the blood drive, as supplies last! So come, save lives, and get free food!

The Library is hosting an Estimate the Weight of the Pumpkin Contest. Come to the library to submit your guess of the weight of our pumpkin in pounds and ounces. The winner will be announced on Halloween day and for the prize you get to take the pumpkin home!
