Sign up for the ASVAB Career Exploration and you will get access to a site that can help you find out. The ASVAB is scheduled on Wednesday October 4th in the auditorium. Seniors - we are bringing college and career representatives to you to help you with your post-high school plan: Next Tuesday, September 19th we are hosting a road to college night where you can meet with college reps and get a discount ordering your graduation items through Jostens. On Thursday, September 21st, You will have the opportunity to apply to or meet reps from: ASU, Benedictine, GCU, MCC, NAU, SCC, UofA, Universal Technical Institute or EVIT adult career training programs Work with counselors to apply to other schools Create your FSA ID that you will use this year and while you are in college to apply for FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) - FAFSA opens December this year Meet with a military recruiter Meet with a rep from Goodwill MyCareerAdvisor to learn about the tools they offer to help you enter the workforce Students who complete an application or create their FSA ID will be entered into drawings for prizes!
Hi Toros! Our Scottsdale Community College rep will visit the Career Center this Friday at 3rd hour and 4th lunch. Stop by to learn about some of their popular programs of study, scholarship opportunities and more! Next week the University of Arizona rep will visit on Monday at 2nd and 3rd hour in the Career Center to go over admissions and general information. On Friday, the University of Arizona Honors College rep will visit at 2nd hour to tell you all about the benefits of being part of the Honors College and go over how to apply. Did you know that the main staple of the Aztec diet, the precursor of what we know now as Mexican food, was corn? This was typically ground and made into tortillas. It was also turned into popped corn, which was a tradition the Aztecs picked up from their Mayan predecessors.
