If you are 18 or older, you do not need a permission slip. Just head to the small gym at a time convenient for you and be sure to check in to be excused from class. If you are under 18 and have a signed permission slip then you also can just head on down at a convenient time to donate.
- Prom is April 22! Be sure to get you tickets now and avoid long wait times at the bookstore. Additionally, if you are bringing a non-Mountain View Guest, you need to get the permission slip into the bookstore no later than April 19. Get your form today and get it taken care of to avoid any embarrassing mishaps.
- Do you like free money? Seniors, even if you don’t qualify for the Pell grant you still have a chance at free money in our gift card giveaway! Check out the Senior FAFSA News Bulletin Board in the main building's second floor hallway! Win $10 or $20 gift cards!
- Juniors- Tuesday April 4th , you will be taking the ACT. Did you know that it usually costs $85 to take the ACT on a Saturday morning when you could be sleeping for free? Thanks to a grant, Mountain View Juniors can take the ACT for free during the school day on April 4 th thus keeping your Saturday open to sleep! We need to test 95% of the junior class in order to keep this program available so be sure to be here, on time. Buses will run as usual for those that need it. All other students will learn from home asynchronously. And please remember, you will need to show your plastic ID as digital copies will not be accepted. If you need a new ID, visit the bookstore today. And one last thing, charge your laptops Monday night and be on time. See you on Tuesday!
- Congratulations to our Toros of the Month! This months champions are Sofia Mackey, Winter Macazan, Melodee Hisch, Madeyln Miller, Chrissy Owensby, Missy Owensby, Lilly Mason, Holland Ebarb, Miss Ada Cheng who runs our bullseye and teacher Miss Virginia Starrick. Congratulations again! Toros of the month lunch will be Wednesday, April 11th at noon in the principal's conference room.
- Juniors and Seniors! Next week we have reps from two colleges visiting on Monday April 3rd in the Career Center. At 6th hour a rep from Fort Lewis College will be here to tell you about all that Fort Lewis offers and what its like to attend college in Colorado! At 7th hour our rep from Scottsdale Community college visits. If you are interested in either school, learning about their programs of study or have other questions, sign up for the visit using the sign up on the counseling page, in Canvas or stop by the Career Center.
