  • Do you like Target, Starbucks, Sonic, or Chick Fil A? If you answered yes and you are a senior, COMPLETE THE FAFSA!!! Your peer coaches are hosting a giveaway and the only thing you need to enter is a completed FAFSA application. Information on how to complete it can be found on our bulletin board and on our Instagram page @mvt.fafsa.2023. And if you want to set up an appointment check out the QR code on the bulletin board.
  • Congratulations to the following Mountain View students and teachers whose writing will be featured in Mesa Public Schools' Voices Writing Contest and Anthology. 1) Freshman Allen Plumb was awarded 1st place for "Weeping Woman" (his teacher is Mr. Maldonado). 2) Sophomore Vera Chapin was awarded 1st place for "Starlight of Fialova" (her teacher is Mr. Magnusson). 3) Junior Brenley MacNab was awarded 1st place for "Arnold Taylor" (her teacher is Mrs. Traylor). 4) Junior Grace Huyter was awarded an Honorable Mention for "The Banana Man" (her teachers is Mrs. Traylor). 5) Junior Chris Wren was awarded 1st place for "A Crazy Thing Called...Police Brutality" (his teacher is Mrs. Thune). 6) Junior Madelyn Merrill was awarded 1st place for "Address to the Nation" (her teacher is Mrs. Thune). 7) Senior Ariana Gomez was awarded 1st place for "El Rancho de mi tata" (her teacher is Jessica Chupp). 8) Teacher Mrs. Thune won 1st place for "I ask a poem." 9) Teacher Mr. Magnusson won 1st place for "Drifting." 
  • Attention all SWAT Team members: Meeting today in room 717 during both lunches. Lots to do guys, it's officially SPRING!!
  • The blood drive is Thursday March 30. Did you know that each person that donates can save 3 lives! As an added bonus, each person that donates will get a $10 gift card to Amazon! So don't horde your blood! Donate it on March 30, save 3 lives, get an Amazon Gift Card, and tell the world that you are awesome!
  • Toros! Next Monday our rep from GCU will visit Mountain View at 2nd hour in the Career Center to let you know about the college, programs of study, life on campus, how to apply and to answer your questions.
