Graphic Design: Open Lab

To give Graphic Design students, and other students a chance to use the Graphic Design software and equipment outside of school hours. Students come to work on design related school projects, or experiment with other techniques not emphasized in the available design classes, such as 2D Animation principles, and 3D Modeling & Design techniques. Available equipment to practice with, iMac Desktop computers, Adobe Software, Wacom Drawing Tablets, Procreate Painting/ Animation App for iPad & Apple Pencil, pressure sensitive styluses for school laptops, Blender software for 3D design. This is a self-paced design opportunity, a little bit of help from the teacher can be given, but most students come ready to practice on their own.

Model United Nations (MUN) is an academic simulation where students role-play as delegates representing countries in United Nations committees, debating global issues and proposing solutions. It helps participants develop skills in diplomacy, public speaking, collaboration, and critical thinking. Students have the opportunity to take AP Comparative Government and Politics to learn how to best analyze and compare structures of government while potentially earning college credit.
