Why AcDec?

Academic Decathlon is your chance to test your skills, broaden your horizons, and compete with like-minded peers.

This annual academic competition goes beyond traditional testing. It combines ten subject areas – art, economics, essay, interview, language & literature, math, music, science, social science, and speech – into a comprehensive and exciting challenge. Teams dedicate themselves to studying a specific theme, which changes annually, allowing them to deepen their understanding across various disciplines.

But Academic Decathlon is more than just academics. It's about:

  • Developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Honing communication and presentation abilities.

  • Building teamwork and collaboration spirit.

  • Boosting self-confidence and academic achievement.

  • Earning scholarship opportunities and college recognition.

Academic Decathlon offers a rewarding journey that will leave a lasting impact on your academic and personal development.
