About Us
Our Mission
Mountain View: Where Tradition Meets Innovation
We are proud of our strong legacy of excellence in academics, athletics, and performing arts, but we're not resting on our laurels! We're constantly innovating to prepare students for success in life beyond high school.
What sets us apart:
Academics Rigorous curriculum, dedicated teachers (many of whom are Mountain View graduates who wanted to come back!) and innovative teaching methods set your student up for success. We also have award-winning Speech & Debate, Model UN, and Academic Decathlon teams as well as Dual Enrollment and AP classes.
CTE Programs Students can explore their passions with our many Career & Technical Education programs. We partner with businesses to provide internship and networking opportunities for our students. Some programs allow students to graduate with an industry certificate.
The Arts Mountain View is one of only two high schools in the district with a Music Conservatory program for those who wish to study music at a deeper level or pursue it as a career. Our band, orchestra, and choir programs and their directors consistently receive high honors and recognitions from AMEA, ABODA, and AREA.
Inclusivity We are always working toward a more inclusive environment through our Unified PE programs in collaboration with Special Olympics
FASTeams Our Freshman Academic Success Teams give freshmen extra support as they transition to high school. This team teaching model was created in collaboration with ASU's Next Education Workforce and is producing better outcomes for both students and teachers alike.
Lifelong Friendships Students make lasting connections through our many student clubs, activities, athletics, and events.

Visit Our Campus
Dr. Mike Oliver gives monthly tours of our campus. Plan on spending about an hour and a half with us, though we understand if you need to duck out early. Tours include a discussion about learning through inquiry, a visit to a FASTeam, and a look at our facilities.
